Service Description
Women's bone density is at around 98% by their mid 20's and reaches its peak between 30 and 40 years of age. After 40, bone mass declines, and by the age of 70 it has decreased by 30-40%. RESISTANCE TRAINING MUST be an essential component in every woman over 40's fitness regime, in order to help mitigate for the risks associated with declining oestrogen and bone & muscle mass. 40-FY provides targeted resistance training for the whole body without impacting joints or risking pelvic health dysfunction. You will be guided through Pilates inspired strength and stability exercises that have been specifically designed to strengthen and mobilise the whole body, and aim to promote improved bone density, muscular strength, improved balance & proprioceptive awareness, cardiovascular fitness and core strength.
