FIT TO THE CORE
A progressive series of cardio and core workouts that aim to burn fat, challenge your balance, develop your proprioceptive awareness and of course, strengthen you from the core out!
The session will include: interval training (maximal effort for intervals of 30 secs on with 10 secs rest) to challenge your cardiovascular fitness; some balance and activation exercises and functional core movements in a series of standing abs, and plank sequences to target core strength and stability.
Exercises can be progressed, regressed and adapted to individual need, and will be varied between classes to maintain interest and challenge the brain as well as the body.
Modifications are provided for every exercise giving you safe alternatives should they be more appropriate for your specific ability or physical need.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
Functional Fitness is a combination of functional body weight exercises to build muscular strength and endurance, blended with a Pilates inspired core workout to strengthen, lengthen and tone the whole body.
You will challenge and develop your strength, balance, proprioceptive awareness and develop a strong foundational strength to help prevent injury.
Modifications are provided for every exercise giving you safe alternatives should they be more appropriate for your specific ability or physical need.

HIIT & CORE
High intensity interval training means working at 75%- 80% of your maximal effort for intervals of 40 secs on with 20 secs rest.
If you are not sure what this feels like, you should be out of breath and unable to hold a conversation!
Working at this intensity, you will challenge your cardiovascular fitness, stamina and strength for 25 mins and follow it with specific and targeted core strength and stability exercises to help prevent injury of, and mobilise the spine safely and effectively.
Exercises can be progressed, regressed and adapted to individual need, and will be varied between classes to maintain interest and challenge the brain as well as the body.
