Kinetic Flow

Kinetic Flow is a blend of high intensity training and pilates inspired upper body and core strength exercises.  

Choreographed to music, and instructor led, the classes will combine HIIT training with core conditioning moves, upper body toning exercises and flexibility work, allowing you to torch calories and build longer and leaner muscles; increasing the heart rate and metabolising fat. 

This aims to improve:
Mobility
Flexibility  
Co-ordination     
Posture
Metabolic rate (fat burning)
Core Stability 
Muscle Length and tone  
Strength & resistance to injury
Sense of wellbeing
Proprioception and Balance

Functional Flow

Functional body weight exercises blended with pilates inspired movements specifically focussing on postural muscles and core strength. 

The class is therefore a whole body workout as the exercises are combined to challenge your proprioception, balance and co-ordination as well as strength, stamina, and flexibility by encouraging movement throughout all planes. 
This is important as it focusses our mind on using the correct sequence of muscle firing to perform exercises that mimic everyday movements. 
Over time the aim is that, our mind and body will become more accustomed to using these corrective exercise sequences, and thereby prevent injury.  
So this really is for everyone, whether you’re a beginner or a pro, it’s one to give a go!

HIIT & CORE

High intensity interval training means working at 75%- 80% of your maximal effort for intervals of 40 secs on with 20 secs rest.

If you are not sure what this feels like, you should be out of breath and unable to hold a conversation!  

Working at this intensity, you will challenge your cardiovascular fitness, stamina and strength for 25 mins and follow it with specific and targeted core strength and stability exercises to help prevent injury of, and mobilise the spine safely and effectively. 

Exercises can be progressed, regressed and adapted to individual need, and will be varied between classes to maintain interest and challenge the brain as well as the body.

Modifications are provided for every exercise giving you safe alternatives should they be more appropriate for your specific ability or physical need.
