REVIVA RETREATS OFFER A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO WOMEN'S WELLNESS THROUGH MIDLIFE A Supportive, Personalised Wellness & Fitness Experience Whether you’re restarting your fitness journey or looking to refine your routine, our experienced coaches will meet you where you are and help you refine your routine. We want you to understand how to build strength, protect your future health, and feel empowered in your body; now and for the years ahead. As women move through life and particularly through perimenopause and menopause, fitness needs to work with the body—not against it. This retreat is specifically designed to support women 40+ by focusing on strength, mobility and energy, and nutrition for hormone balance, stress management and sustainable metabolic health. Rather than extreme workouts or restrictive approaches, we will focus on intelligent training, recovery, and education to help you feel stronger, calmer, and more confident. Fitness goes far beyond weight loss or achieving a specific body shape. It’s about supporting your overall health and well-being. Structured Movement with Built-In Recovery Each day follows a balanced rhythm. There will be a soft structure without a packed schedule or pressure to do everything. Morning yoga improves flexibility, joint health, and posture, while structured group fitness sessions focus on strength, conditioning, and metabolic health. Evening Yoga Nidra/meditation supports deeper sleep and further enhances nervous system and muscular recovery. Strength, Mobility, and Low-Impact Conditioning Exercise sessions have been structured to improve strength, mobility, balance, and cardiovascular fitness—key areas for women in midlife. All sessions are low-impact, joint-friendly, and easily modified, helping reduce the risk of injury while still delivering results. You’ll learn how to build functional strength, improve posture, protect bone health, and enhance overall movement quality. Nervous System Regulation for Hormones & Recovery Chronic stress and poor recovery can significantly affect hormones, sleep, and fat loss during menopause. We will work on nervous system healing and strategies for integrating a nervous system reset into daily life through vagus nerve regulation. These sessions will include practical techniques to calm the nervous system, support hormonal balance, and improve recovery between workouts. By managing stress and lowering cortisol levels, your body will become more responsive to training, fat loss, and muscle development. Space to Slow Down The schedule will therefore offer a clear structure without overload—giving your body the time it needs to adapt and respond positively to training. Shared or solo downtime for mindful activities, such as walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside, and use of the sauna and pool, will encourage gentle movement, connection, and relaxation. The indoor heated swimming pool is available at any time for low-impact cardio, mobility work, or active recovery, making it ideal for joints, circulation, and overall conditioning. Supporting Your Goals and Overcoming Barriers We recognise the common challenges that can make starting or maintaining an exercise routine difficult—such as fear of injury, time constraints, or feeling overwhelmed in fitness spaces. This retreat is thoughtfully designed to be welcoming and inclusive, with activities that require little equipment or prior experience. You’ll feel supported, confident, and comfortable throughout your journey. With a small group, nourishing home-cooked food, and a tranquil countryside setting, the retreat feels relaxed, restorative, and refreshingly uncomplicated.
